Experience Wife 1 (Cheating Husband)
This is my first post. I just recently found this place and would like to vent a little. I have been married for nearly 7 years on September 27, and I am not sure if we are going to make it. My husband started his "innocent" internet flirting several years ago. When I confronted him about it, he would stop for several months until I would catch him again. However for the last 3 years he has been on a rollercoaster ride to destruction. When I discovered him going into chatrooms and instant message women, I installed a im sniffing program on my computer. At first I used to read the messages, now I usually just look for certain words.

For the last 2 years the only anniversary gift I have asked for is for him to commit himself to me and stop cheating. He does not consider the internet sex as cheating and feels that I have blown everything out of proportion. One of his internet "girlfriends" has been with him on and off for 5 years. I feel that he has a more emotional and physical connection with her than he does with me. I truly want to save our marriage, but I don't think that it is possible anymore. He has totally forgotten his vows to me and tells me that he doesn't want to leave some of his girls because he feels sorry for them.
They supposedly have no one else but him. When I ask him what about me he just makes a stupid joke and dismisses my feelings. I have gone through all of the ways I can think to make him see what is wrong, I have confronted, threatened, begged, cried and he continues to ignore me. The sad thing is that he does most of his cheating while I am in the next room. I know he is doing it, he knows that I know. He says that he loves me, which I don't really believe anymore. He tells all of his girlfriends that he loves them too. So who does he love?Whenever I try to sit down with him to have an adult conversation, he constantly changes the subject or makes jokes. My heart is broken and he is having a blast. I am confused, sad and frustrated. I don't know what to do. This is not how it was supposed to be. The man proposed to me on Christmas day, 2002, before we had been on our first date. I always have been here for him, wanting him, loving him and still am, but he just ignores me as if I were invisible. I feel like all I am to him is a cook, laundress and maid. I am miserable.

We used to be free with everything and never kept any secret from each other until recently everything changed when he got a new Job in NewYork 2 months ago. He has been avoiding my calls and told me he is working,i got suspicious when i saw a comment of a woman on his Facebook Picture and the way he replied her.
